Sun. April 5, 2009 (Day 355)

... to day 365!

We had a busy Sunday... start from buying a new washing machine,
then at the end of the day, hubby finished replacing 2 sections of fence that needed make over.

I wished Monday is the second Sunday.

Sat. February 21, 2009 (Day 312)

Okay... Beatles' song threw me off...I thought there were 8 days in a week.

I'm glad when I realised that...
there are only 2 more days left for this challenge.
I'm getting tired with it already...
It's really hard to remember to bring my tripod everywhere!

'How Low Can I Go' challenge day 5 of 7.

See day 1 of 7.

Tiny info:
* cropped the original shot BIG time (see EXIF).
* converted to B&W with a tint blue added to it.
* added higher contrast.

Sat. February 7, 2009 (Day 298)

This is one of the shots that I made for the challenge that Steve Jones & I created for ourselves.

Create a black & white gallery of human countour...

What I have to say about this week's shots:
* natural light is always the best... or is it?
* natural light & (fill in) flash is even better.
* need to learn more about tricky low ISO.
* practice how to direct a model better (creates the images from my head).
* need a bigger reflector.

The Coffee Challenge...01/12/09 (Day 272)
The Challenge: Show us your interpretation of the word, "Coffee."
The Participants: Kre8ive, John (300m), Bill Pador, The Curious Camel, Creative Deviance, Johnloguk, Lady Kate, MyKey, Trevlan, Fotoeffects, Hillary, and myself.
The Result: Coffee Time

Nothing fancy from me today... just 3 giant empty coffee mugs.
I miss my best girlfriends. We are in 3 different parts of the world now.
One is in Qatar, two are in Indonesia.
Eventho' if we were still living in one place, I know it wouldn't be the same anymore.
I guess I just miss the old times, but life goes on.
